Kuala Lumpur - Etiqa Insurance and Takaful’s customers who are affected by the recent flood in the country can call its 24-hour claims hotline numbers to get immediate assistance on their claims.
“We understand that these are the times where our customers need us the most and because of that, we want to make it easy for them to get the help they need. This is why, in line with our brand platform of humanizing insurance and takaful, we are dedicating special claim hotline numbers for our affected customers to call at any time of the day,” said Hans De Cuyper, Chief Executive Officer of Etiqa.
Etiqa’s assistance to the affected customers does not end with the 24-hour hotline offering. In fact, Etiqa has already embarked on other helpful initiatives to ensure that the customers can get back on their feet again quickly after the flood disaster.
Hans added, “Our operations team is already working with our local branches and adjusters in all regions namely Northern, Central, Southern and East Malaysia, to get feedback and reports on the losses as quickly and as accurately as possible. For smaller claim amounts, we have also simplified the process so that customers can get out of the difficult situations quickly.”
“Customers will receive claims in their respective bank accounts within seven working days upon signing the acceptance form”, he explained.
According to Hans, Etiqa is also taking proactive action by calling its customers in the affected area to see if they are affected by the disaster and subsequently, providing assistance in claiming their losses.
